This is a 6-months contract opportunity with Remote.   Description: Reporting to the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, Information Technology (IT) Quality Management, the Software Quality Assurance Engineer II will perform test planning, manual test case authoring, scripting automated scripts, test execution, review test activities, test reporting on assigned tasks and deliverables of QA consultants. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer II plays a major role to improve the quality, functionality, reliability, and usability of software products for Clients. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer II is responsible to review the business requirements and create test plans, test cases, and automated scripts, execute tests according to Client policy, guidelines, and SQA industry best practices, and escalating as appropriate. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based out of Los Angeles, CA. - In LA, will need to be available to work onsite 2-3 days per week, when the team is onsite. Scope of work: - Content creation ranges from digital to print, including videos, emails, social and web page content, and printed literature, including from scratch, highly creative work to tweaking existing content. - The role is also highly process-oriented; the writer will interface directly with leads, managers, and editors to create the work and carry it across the production finish line to deployment. - Mid-level familiarity with mutual funds and other investment vehicles (SMA, model portfolios, ETFs) is important.
