Job Title: : SCCM Administrator

Job Location: Hyderabad

Position: Permanent

Work Timings/Shift:  Rotational

 

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • SCCM Infrastructure Management:
    • Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
    • Configure and manage software distribution, patch management, and operating system deployment using SCCM.
  • Application Packaging and Deployment:
    • Package and deploy applications using SCCM, ensuring compatibility and compliance with organizational standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment issues.
  • Software Updates and Patch Management:
    • Manage software updates and patches for servers and workstations through SCCM.
    • Monitor and report on patch compliance, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Operating System Deployment (OSD):
    • Develop and maintain OS deployment task sequences for new hardware and refresh scenarios.
    • Customize and optimize OS images for deployment.
  • Endpoint Security:
    • Implement and manage endpoint protection policies using SCCM.
    • Collaborate with security teams to ensure endpoint security compliance.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Create and maintain documentation for SCCM configurations, processes, and procedures.
    • Generate and analyze reports to assess SCCM performance and compliance.

 

Qualification / Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an SCCM Administrator or similar role.
  • Basic knowledge on VMWare
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCM architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript) for automation.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and Active Directory.
  • Experience with advanced SCCM features, such as application metering and software asset management.
  • Experience in security patching vulnerability management processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSE, SCCM or equivalent is a plus.
