As a Genesys Cloud engineer the incumbent is expected to be a part of a team of 3 -4 members in the Contact Center domain(Genesys Pure Engage & Cloud), lead and personally contribute to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for one or more medium to high complexity business capabilities and/or products.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 - 7 years’ experience in supporting and developing Genesys Cloud platformAbility to work in a team and challenging environment.
Participate and contribute during migration activities from Genesys Engage to ClouTroubleshoot issues within the Genesys cloud environment. - Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated to the L3 team.
- Work with vendor support as required to resolve outstanding defects/issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for L2 Support resources.
- Problem Management, perform root cause analysis and take preventative actions.
- Good to have AWS fundamentals (Cloud practitioner) certification.
- Adheres to support processes and best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills
- Genesys Cloud CX concepts, Work experience on Architect
- Good to have: Knowledge on Genesys Engage basics.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues within the Genesys cloud environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated to the L3 team.
- Work with vendor support as required to resolve outstanding defects/issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for L2 Support resources.
- Problem Management, perform root cause analysis and take preventative actions.
- Adheres to support processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Genesys eServices solutions, including implementation, configuration, and support, and overall 4-7 years of experience in Genesys
- Strong knowledge of Genesys routing and reporting solutions, as well as integration
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with clients at various levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Genesys certifications, such as Genesys Certified Professional (GCP), are highly desirable.
- Experience in any of these applications is a plus - Genesys Platform, Genesys SDK, GVP – IVR platform, Workforce management.
