Solugenix is assisting a client, a health insurance company, in their search for an Senior ETL Developer. This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity.

 

The Senior ETL-Data Integration Developer is responsible for the operational support of the Informatica environment including but not limited to automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, and maintenance of ETL mappings, applets, and documentation. This position will manage, administer, and work with ETL administration in addressing systems performance including ongoing optimization and tuning of Informatica environment. The Senior ETL-Data Integration developer will develop reliable and complex ETL processes to support the new development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and other Business Intelligence projects.

 

This position will also assist the Data Warehouse team in completing current Data Warehouse initiative projects. This position will also perform the duties of analyzing and evaluating the data source and data targets required for the ETL mapping. Design, develop, and implement complex ETL processes. It will also support and participate in source data analysis, specifically as it relates to domain definitions.

 

Qualifications:

  • Major: Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Math, Business Systems or Master's Degree with 5 years of experience in Informatica ETL Developer role in Data Warehouse projects, Enterprise Data Warehouse, OLAP, and dimensional data modeling.
  • Years of direct/relevant experience required: 5 to 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operational support of Informatica environment including but not limited to automation, job scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, maintenance, patches, upgrades, security, and administration.
  • Administers systems performance including ongoing optimization and tuning of the Informatica environment.
  • Assist data warehouse team in completing current data warehouse initiative projects
  • Analyze and evaluate data sources.
  • Designs and implements complex ETL processes.
  • Strong technical background and work experience with one or more of these: Informatica/SSIS/PL/SQL.
  • Advanced level of knowledge with one or more of these systems: QNXT/CCA/EDIFECS/Syntranet.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL/Python/Therefore.
  • Experience with IICS/IDMC is mandatory.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $63/hour to $67.50/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
